1. Scope: These terms and conditions apply to the rental of Ferienhaus Blumenrain in Appenzell. By making a booking and receiving confirmation, the guest accepts these terms and conditions.

2. Prices and Payment: The total amount is due according to the terms stated during the booking process. All prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF), unless otherwise indicated during the booking process. Payment is made using the available payment methods, including credit card or TWINT.

3. Cancellation Policy: Up to 30 days before arrival: free cancellation. 29 to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount is due. Less than 14 days before arrival or in case of a no-show: 100% of the total amount is due.

4. Liability and Damage: Guests are responsible for damage caused to the holiday home or its contents during their stay. Please inform us as soon as possible of any damage, accidents or defects discovered at the property.

5. Tourist Tax: The mandatory tourist tax of the Canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden is charged in accordance with the applicable regulations. The current rate is CHF 2.50 per person per night. Guests under 16 years of age are exempt from the tourist tax.

6. House Rules: Guests agree to comply with the house rules. These include, in particular, a maximum occupancy of 7 guests, no parties or events, no smoking or vaping, no pets, and observance of the designated quiet hours.

7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction: Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Appenzell, Switzerland.
